Solar Thermal Energy
How does solar thermal energy work?
Solar thermal energy is considered by many to be the future of heating and domestic hot water production. Solar thermal systems, in fact, allow not only to provide health comfort but also to partially integrate domestic heating, representing a sustainable, efficient and convenient alternative to traditional heating systems.
The operation of solar thermal energy is relatively simple but highly effective. The process begins with the capture of solar radiation by solar collectors. These devices they have the objective to capture the sun’s energy and use it to heat a fluid circulating through them, such as water. In fact, this heat can be used directly to heat water for domestic or industrial use.
Renewable and low environmental impact.
Moreover, as it does not generate greenhouse gas emissions during operation, solar thermal energy contributes to the reduction of the carbon footprint.
Savings.
A solar thermal system can reasonably cover up to 70% of the domestic hot water requirement, with significant savings on the bill.
